Serious answer about Cthulhu:
The Esoteric Order of Dagon
totally worships Cthulhu in secret, but only the inner-circle cultists, in hidden shrines, when the tides are just right. They have a propaganda campaign to suppress Cthulhu knowledge and re-brand Father Dagon as a sort of Poseidon figure, to make their religion more palatable to the masses.
Also I wanted to reassure you, when I said "new campaign," it's a side project. Hobbet Heroes isn't ending.

It's hard to take Dougal seriously when he only has 1 head.
Wait... what??

In the hinterlands game Ethan had a hobbit name Desmond....

Mondes is wonderfully Gygaxian. Love the whole thing!

That campaign was pretty far-out at times!

I have to admit, there were lots of frustrating times when the group would zerg through places after a battle and not do a proper search for treasure. We left SO MUCH LOOT behind. :\

>And really, can you blame them? Hasn't Beppo played right into their stereotype of Hobbets as malicious gremlins or vengeful bogeymen?
I don't see that, but this could be another part of our different play styles coming into conflict.

It will all be good once you meet up with the other PCs and we get Beppo into the dungeon! I'm sorry. I know it's a long time to wait. It's taking a little longer than I thought it would; they keep finding hidden treasure.
We have gamed together before, and I trust you to bring Beppo's personality to life. If I could ask one favor of you, I would like to see more of Beppo's Lawful alignment shining through. A specific example: the audience's first impression of Beppo, he's sneaking in through a window to steal pancakes. Why? Beppo isn't starving; he has rations in his inventory, and money to buy more food if he gets hungry. Seems to me like a Chaotic action? I would like to see Beppo be about 20% less impulsive. Maybe you can work out some type of "Burglar's Code" for Beppo, like Robin Hood or Omar from The Wire?
I look forward to reading Beppo's continuing story!

Beppo came in through the kitchen window because he can't come in through the bathroom window without a silver spoon.
No, he came in through the kitchen window because you established that humans were bad, and Beppo didn't know if there were humans guarding the front entrance or not. Had he started each of the conflicts he's found himself in, I would agree that was impuslsive. Beppo isn't a trouble-starter, but he considers himself a trouble-finisher!
