Coln

Coln moves up to the archway and prepares to fire. When he notices the shield, he says "Be careful - the shield might block arrows 'n bolts!"

Round 3:

Overview:
Rhegaer and Hagwen stand side by side and fire away. Coln has moved up to try and bring his crossbow into play. Alrik being cautious and stealthy along the west wall. Phadian is near the center of room cautoiusly waiting. The Wizard is casting...

Hagwen
eAsp:roll 1d20 + 2 + 1
mgt's roll comes to 12 [9 on 1d20 + 2 + 1] - Her arrow was aimed true but it Bounces off as if it hit something solid before reaching the Wizard.

Illmir casts sleep
eAsp:roll 1d6
mgt's roll comes to 2 [2 on 1d6], Hagwen and Rhegaer both slowly fall to the ground as a wave exhaustion rolls over them. Illmir cackles in triumph "Fools".

Coln has the Wizard in sight as the two other Warriors fall. Phadain and Alrik both watch in horror as Rhegaer and Hagwen go down.


Actions for Round 4....

Alrik moves up the wall to stand by the door but still out of sight of the wizard. Seeing their chests rise and fall, he is aware what has happened, and will wait until he sees Illmir enter the room before leaping out and attacking directly with his dagger.

Phadian

I switch from sling to staff and move a bit towards Hagwen to prod her with the staff (to try and waken her).
I do my best to move up quietly and nudge her with the staff extended (so as to perhaps not alert Ilmir of others in the room).

OOC - Yeah I know, a lot to ask, but I can but try.

Having second thoughts as he approaches the door, Alrik uses his staff to prod Rhegaer and Hagwen awake.

Round 4:

Actions: Coln fires at Illmir, Phadian moves cautiously forward and attempts to awaken Hagwen, who is closest. Alrik sneaks farther forward and then considers trying to awaken Hagwen, who is closest but sees Phadian move in to handle that......

Illmir looks at Coln and speaks "Ah more little birds in the nest!" he starts another spell.

Results:

Coln snaps off a shot

mgt's roll comes to 23 [20 on 1d20 + 2 + 1] - Perfect shot driving directly at Illmir's head, but it bounces off some hidden field.

Phadian moves into view...

Illmir casts Hold Person on Coln and Phadian..
Coln save vs Paralysis

mgt's roll comes to 17 [17 on 1d20] - Success

Coln is suddenly held rigid but Phadian feels the magic wash over him and and resists it. And proceeds to awaken Hagwen. Alrik is just on the inside of the Archway out of sight....

Round 5 is up.... Phadian, Hagwen and Alrik are still active.

Phadian

Throwing caution to the wind (no use being a meek and dead). Sprints to Rhaeger to waken him. As running calls out "Missiles no good, we need to melee him."
If still standing after all of that will charge Illmir and strike him with my staff.

Knowing his craft well enough to know they can't risk Illmir getting off another spell, Alrik leaps from hiding and stabs at the wizard with his dagger.

Hagwen

Hagwen's green eyes snap open.

"What in Torgrim's name..?"

But then she is on her feet, her sword sweeping from its scabbard, a murderous look etched on her grim face.

"Eat iron, ya berk!!"

And she swings at the Mage's head...

A little jumbled, Mike... Let me know when Rhegaer can attack. When possible, he will do so with sword.
