Desmond needs a 3rd head.

Desmond, Mondes, and...Nodsmed?
This idea could possibly be beyond my role-playing abilities...

I so want phantasmal force to do that during a battle to you.

Yes. Dieter is in complete control with overwhelming military superiority.
"in
his dying" is an unconfirmed assumption, however.
coffee wrote:In either case, it's time to see to my comrades on the ground! Dieter will get out his sling and fire bullets at any wolf that moves any distance from my friends below.
With no regard as to other eyes that may be cast upon the wall at any moment?

One might also speculate that putting a dozen wolves to sleep will very hastily quieten things down...

Chopping a dozen wolf heads off will also solve this particular conundrum. I just need Gustave to hold up his end of the bargain.

The Gustave is an artist - he is not consumed by petty
statistics (though he will be most miffed if Dorgan out kills him).

If you're interested, you can download a pretty PDF of the latest, up to the minute (as of last night), DD player rules here:
http://download.immersiveink.com/DDRefR ... ol%201.pdf
We can consider ourselves "early adopters" since we've been using these rules even before they were publicly available
These apply except where specifically overriden by Hinterlands house-rules (which I have yet to formally write-up, sorry--getting there). One section that is house-ruled, for example, is how XP is accrued by dual-classed PCs (here in Hinterlands, dual-classed PCs divide their XP evenly between their classes).

Indeed. Apologies for being late to the party.

A Wizard is never late, he is always right on time.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
