Wetzel keeps an ear out for any sign of response to the inevitable (if hopefully slight) sounds of their door-opening attempts.

"Eer. Out tha way then" says Zax, then lays into the door latch with his pick.

Karl turns and draws his sword, facing behind the party, prepared in case the noise of our passage brings something out behind us.

Despite Leudigar's full shoulder, and Zax's (ringing!) pick blow, the door remains resolutely held against you.
Leudigar 1d6=3. Zax 1d6=2.

The passage can be seen to continue ahead for about 40ft before being joined by another from the left. A further 30ft beyond that intersection another door is dimly visible--also on the left side. And the passage continues into the darkness beyond that...

Leudigar shrugs, spits on the door, and continues down the passage. When he gets to the three-way intersection, he turns left instead of continuing straight.

Zax gives the door a hard, long, we're not done yet glare; then follows Leudigar

Zem shrugs "Some doors are best left standing"

Leudigar proceeds cautiously, some 40ft ahead to reach the intersection, wherein he peers down the infringing passageway to his left. In the shadowy dimness there, he barely makes out another two doors about 30ish feet further down; one either side. The door on the right hand side is slightly nearer... the passageway itself continues on into the dark.

Leudigar proceeds down this left-hand passage, stopping at the first door.

After everyone is caught up and quiet, he listens at the first door. If he hears nothing, he attempts to open it.
