Immersive Ink

Maloof approaches the table to see what (if anything) is written upon the paper. If nothing is written, Maloof will use the provided quill and ink to write the following upon the paper: "I wish to increase my skills at thievery" and sign his name.

You read an unfinished note

""This is it. They want us to leave this place. We are going to have to take a stand. Some of the others have already begun to"."

In that case Maloof will add nothing to the note and will instead retreat back out the west door leaving the note untouched (unless anyone else wants to investigate this room further?).

Let's head north and try the door on the north wall (listen & open).

Naillus is fine with that.

A short 10' north, then turns west for 10' before opening onto a 20' square room holding two coffins. As you notice this, you also notice two grey man-shapes, with glowing green eyes, the rest of them blacker than night, arise from the coffins

Maloof quickly retreats back and slips on his Ring of Invisibility once he's around the corner.

As Maloof steps back, Aldbane steps into the doorway and presents his holy symbol. "Flee the power of Law, I command you!"

Franklin draws his magic sword and waits to see whether Aldbane's turning attempt is successful. He tells Balbo and Drogo to stay back and avoid the undead's touch.
