The fight continues, as the big clumsy monsters have troubles hitting the smaller adventurers. Franklin and Rhod both do more damage to their foes, and Maloof successfully slips around the room to keep an eye on the door. The party keeps up the attack.
The monster that keeps getting jabbed by Franklin switches his attacks, and catches Franklin with a low sweep. This diverts his attention from Aldbane, who finishes him off with a crushing attack. Rhod also kills his foe. There are two dead creatures, and two unconscious from the Color Spray

Initiative: Party 2, Monsters 4
Monster 1 vs Aldbane (easier to see than Franklin), rolls 8 - miss
Monster 2 vs Rhod, rolls 5 - miss
Franklin and Aldbane attack: 18/6
- Franklin hits doing 5 damage
- Aldbane misses
Rhod vs other monster, rolls 14 - hits for 6 damage

Monster 1 vs Franklin, rolls 18 - hits for 5 damage

Maloof remains guarding the door, but makes a motion of his finger across his throat to indicate what he thinks should happen next.

Aldbane has a Staff of Healing, that has unlimited use, but a being can only be affected once per day. Down five hit points, would this be a good time for Franklin to be healed?

OOC: I believe Aldbane is currently an NPC under DM control, and, yes please, Franklin would like some healing!

Franklin is healed back up to full hit points, and the monsters are all dead

Maloof shushes everyone and listens carefully at the door. If he hears nothing, he'll step back for it to be opened.
