This door is smaller, and not quite so stout as the other. It is once again opened into the room with a simple, rusty door handle. The muddy cobbles in front of the door appear to have been undisturbed for a good long while, though the ground nearest the door is damp -- even wet. In fact, Ulric observes, there is an unpleasantly damp smell here abouts, and the timbers toward the base of the door are partly rotted by the moisture.
He listens carefully at the smaller door...

...but this time hears nothing more than the steady burn of his own lantern. He does note, however distastefully, that the pong is distinctly more offensive closer to the door.
