Nidhogg finds himself in the shadows behind a couple of the knaves with bows. Should he so choose he could attempt to back-stab either.

Alternatively, he could attempt sidle off into the deeper shadows and attempt to sneak around behind the Ogre.

Neither of these actions will get him any closer to the dunjon door, however.

Additionally, his yelled warning has already revealed him and his turncoat intent to his fellow ambushers...

The storm of arrows and bolts streak out the darkness with uncanny accuracy. Mads and Ulric and Andaros are each pierced by arrows for (1dd=5, 2, 4) 5, 4 and 2 hit points respectively. Another bolt thunks into the heavy chest right in front of Dieter's face! And poor Padrig, his torch light making him a bold target, is struck twice for (1dd=4, 2) 6 hit points!

Everyone else, what are your intentions for the following round?

Padrig will click his finger and thumb on his glove finger in an attempt to use the magic of the pixies to help himself.
OOC: What is Padrig able to do? Can he cast healing on himself, if so he will?

"Men?" sneers Deggerhund, "I fight like an OGRE!"

Alas, Padrig is run through and can do naught. The first wicked shaft drives through his carapace where neck joins shoulder, its blue and red tail feathers flaunted proudly as it strikes home. An instant later the second, fatal, shaft pierces his heart and without a word Padrig (and his torch) collapses backward to tumble off the ledge to the ravine floor some 10ft below.

Padrig has -1 of 5 hit points and is slain.
Mads has 3 of 9 hit points.
Ulric has 2 of 4 hit points.
Andaros has 8 of 12 hit points.
