Meanwhile, behind The Boar's back near the entrance to the pavilion, Torben deals a surprise punch in the face to the fellow barring Dorgan and Rufus from the tent.
Torben's blow (1d20=11 @+5=16 vs AC5 is a hit) catches the fellow completely by surprise and (1d6=3) gives him a stout jolt for 3 point of subdual damage. (1d6=3) It doesn't cause him to lose his grip on Rufus, however.
The Man straightens his twisted neck, tosses the Halfling aside, and says, "That were unfair!" with a widening grin...

As the dust settles, and a new tension fills the air with pause following Torbens intervention, and light clapping (picture mailed hands golf clap) fills the air.
"Good show!" cries Gustave, though it is unclear whether he is referring to the blooded giants or the new pre-melee at the tent.

Ulric moves toward the developing altercation. He scans the area looking for someone with the air of authority to talk to.

Wen would go ahead with his attempt to the defuse the situation with a bit of magic and fast talking....
ooc: he'd have to change a few words seeing as the fight ends as he is starting...
"Wen would say "Friends, friends hear, hear, this is not the time or place to resort to blows. I suggest we all just relax, perhaps a few more rounds of beer and wine while we watch the exciting match before us. Please lets not ruin the occasion, you my good man let the little one go, I assure you he means no harm, he was simply looking for the latrine. Poor little guy has had a skinful of fine mead and is near bursting, isn't that right Dorgan? Friend Torban is simply caught up in the moment, this is rather an exciting fight is it not?Why look everyone it has ended, they both look near the point of point of collapse. It is time to cheer them no? Off you go Dorgan don't want making a mess here."

Ulric scans the band of fighting Men and surmises that the fellow whom Armando exchanged words with might hold some sway over the other men, but the rest of them look to be peers.
Meanwhile Wen (very wisely) works his silver tongued enchantment (2d6=6,@+1=7) and those Men nearest the disturbance (including Torben and Rufus, but excluding Dorgan who has too many HD to be swayed) all laugh the little ruckus off as a good joke, and deem it a grand plan to break out their wine skins and ale flasks and share it round with these new folks.
The Boar himself is mightily impressed with this notion and by some fortune his serving man comes running with two great pewter goblets of wine, one for their master and one for Dieter.
The other Men of the camp exchange coins and chattels in accordance with the various wagers they'd struck for the duel, and look on at the sudden good natured exchange with some curiosity. But in the main, they are happy enough to indulge a bit of free drink while it's on offer.
A potentially disastrous scene has seemingly been diffused...

"Let us have a drink with our new friends" says Rufus picking himself off the ground feeling suddenly relaxed.
"Now where that latrine..." Rufus mutters as he walks off for a minute before returning.
Rufus will keep an eye out for what is around and move around to checkout the layout of the camp, and where anything interesting may be.
Rufus having no money and feeling in need of some, will borrow some from a pocket of an unarmed drunk when noone is watching, staying on the careful side not to be caught.

Seeing the situation diffused, Desmond relaxes... slightly. He remains near Highbough, who he assumes will avoid too much interaction with the men from the Boar's camp, thinking it best to have two creepy cloaked figures in the party instead of one.

Torben
"My kind of people! Jaw like granite!" Torben exclaims with a wide grin. He rubs the knuckles on his hand absentmindedly. "Your Lord is an impressive fellow. Never seen a fight like that; did you see that feint?" he continues breathlessly, swept up into the festivities with an unnatural exuberance.
