Wetzel takes his place in the marching order (somewhere near the middle), with his torch held high.

Zax hands off his torch (or just drops it on the ground) and re-kits himself with pick and shield.
"C'mon then" he says, chewing on his moustache as he waits for Leudigar to open the door.

Akbar nestles the arbalest in one arm like a big cat and grabs the torch from Zax in his off hand.

Leudigar leans into the broad, double door and with all his weight slowly pushes them open, to reveal a dim, stone passage leading some 40ft to a right-hand turn.
The company, thus assembled, paces down the dark hallway. Leudigar the tracker has point, and by the time he reaches the bend, enough light from the torch Akbar bears behind him is reflected around the corner to reveal another long passageway. About 20ft ahead there is another door to the left...

Karl will stay to the rear, frequently checking behind us for any enemies/activity.

Dopey falls in a safe distance from the front, and attempts to sketch the tunnels on a leaf of the goblin ledger.

Leudigar checks the door, listening to it if possible and examining it to see if there is anything notable or unusual about it (extra reinforcement, markings or drawings on it, black scorch marks on the stone around the door or on the floor, etc.).
If all appears normal, then he attempts to open the door.

Leudigar gives the door a minute of close scrutiny, before deciding all is well, then attempts to open it... but the stubborn old thing won't budge for him.
Ref checks to force open door 1d6=3, so no.

Leudigar tries a second time, then gives way to let Zax or someone else give it a try.
