Desmond checks the door over, but it looks to be a perfectly mundane, man sized, door. It is inconveniently tall to a Hobbit, but he opens it none-the-less, to reveal a dim passage beyond. Immediately over the threshold three step carry down to the floor level of the passage, which is about 5ft wide and seems to curve gently to the right.
Only a dozen paces along the passage, there is a closed door to the left.

We proceed.
OOC: Dieter is carrying his new sword, but has the silver one sheathed at his side as a backup.

"I've no idea where this one leads," Desmond whispers, "Maybe to... a kitchen? Haven't seen one of them yet. Or more sleeping chambers like on the eastern side?" He shrugs.
Desmond examines the door when they get to it, then listens to see if he can hear anything behind it.
"Do we want to check this out? Or head straight to the Reliquary for a rest?"
| Once your new sword is tested, maybe someone else could borrow the silvered sword? We know that works against the weremen and not everyone is well-armed against them. Desmond and Wen just have silver daggers, I think. Maybe Olaf, too, if I remember correctly. |

"We'll probably need these again before long." he remarks to Dorgan show is front of him in the line.
Dorgan replies,
"I'd help ya, lad, but even that rope is too much for me right now. Gimme a few hours and I'll be back ta pulling my weight."
"Don't worry about a few coils of rope." Olaf says with a grin, "You build your strength back up."

OOC: Yes, Olaf borrowed a silver dagger from someone...Wen, I think? Olaf also lent out one or more silver tipped arrows to someone. If we fight undead/werecreatures, Olaf would be good with that silver sword...sword and shield are his preferred combo...and he could pass the dagger back to its owner or someone else.

"Straight to the Reliquary I would suggest,'" Ulric offers, "lest we get sidetracked and cut to pieces."
OOC: The silver dagger Olaf has was Ulric's. He would like it back, unless someone else is in need. That said the new ring may offer some other options.

Desmond nods and moves on down the hall to the infirmary. He takes no chances with getting too far ahead of the others, staying just a few feet in front of Wen.

Yeah, I was thinking Olaf could use it. Like you say, once my new one is tested.

Josiane: "Lord Ulric is right; to the Reliquary."

Highbough continues along with the others.
