Urist has the same reaction as Rhegaer: direct action! He fires a sling-stone at the goblin to bring it down before it can sound the alarm.

Urist and Rhegaer are in the lead and quickly take action.
Rhegaer throws his spear.

mgt's roll comes to 3 [3 on 1d6] - DAMAGE
Urist casts a stone
mgt's roll comes to 18 [16 on 1d20 +2] - HIT
mgt's roll comes to 6 [6 on 1d6] - KILLED
The battle is over in a blink of an eye, the goblin scout lies dead, the way out is now clear.....
The Party moves quickly out to the entrance of the caverns. You all step over the silver laid threshold and look out upon the dale below...

"Nice shot, Rhegaer," grunts Urist as he helps lift one end of the elf-known-as-Hagwen. "It is good to breathe the fresh air again. Return to our camp?"
His loyal pup trots along at his side.

The party slowly makes it way back to where the Rik and the Mule await. Rik looks confused "What happened? Who is that?" Phadian and Shoul put down their burden. What happens next is up to all of you.
OOC: You survived the first foray in Tor-Xonor. You defeated 21 Goblins and 1 Ogre, which comprised a majority of the Talontail Tribe. XP award being posted. 589xp is the base award.
Recap: You evaded a Gorgon on the way to Tor-Xonor. You scouted the area and found an Elven campsite. You choose to enter a goblin warren which had a silver ring around the threshold and a tripwire trap at the first junction. You explored several tunnels and 2 chambers, you defeated 21 goblins and an Ogre before Hagwen died and you retreated to your camp.....

"Do we have any silver weapons among us?" inquires Urist grimly. "I fear what we may face in the night. Worst case, I brought these." The dwarf reaches into his pack and brandishes a hammer and two sturdy wooden stakes.

"Agreed, let us camp. I am in no shape for anything other than sleeping at the moment though. I am not sure it is much safer out here than inside, but it sure does feel good to be above ground again. No silver weapons, but I do have this <holds up holy symbol> to dissuade undead from messing with us, so do wake me if anything is shambling about."

OOC: Alric took the silver dagger we pulled off the mage, I believe.

Unless anyone has anything else to add, do, or say. I will awesome you set about readying the camp for the night. You can tell me the order of the watch and anything specific about that. Then I'll roll the dreaded dice and see how the night goes for you.
