Zem nods a word of thanks to Fried."West or South we have not been, best to check the doors." but his attention is drawn back the hydra. "This area is odd". Zem gives the chains and hydra den a good looking over, any hidden or loose stones....

"You lot ready yet then?" says Zax as wounds are bound and water is taken.

He bouces on his feet, eager to get moving, then, without awaiting a reply, shuffles off to examine the doors at the opposite end to the statues.

Akbar follows to the southern end of the chamber, but peels off to listen at the southeast-facing door.

Zem spends a minute or two examining the hydra den by the crackling torchlight. More like a prison than an den, he concludes. The beast what chained between four stout columns... a cross of latrine trenches cobbled between them is overfilled with filth, the stench of which make his eyes water. The stones are somewhat depressed from the beast's weight, but nothing seems out of the ordinary.

Meanwhile, Zax crossed the whole length of the chamber to arrive at the stout double door, and Akbar listens carefully at another door... and hears the low moans of forlorn winds coming from beyond.
The ref checks for random baddies; 1d6=?

Leaning heavily on his spear & still holding his torch, Wetzel crosses the room & listens at the west door.

Unable to determine if anything the hag has might be magical in nature, Leudigar figures to err on the side of caution. He removes the bone ring and neck chain from the corpse, counts the coins, noting their minting details, and then puts the ring, necklace, and coins in his pack.

Once that is done, he follows Zax over to the two statues and examines them in greater detail, looking for any lines or seams that might indicate one of them can be moved or adjusted to reveal a secret passage or area.

| If I can remember correctly... | Dopey was circling the room to get behind the hag and hydra. He will check out the statues, first prodding them with his (weapon?), then giving them a more thorough run down...do they slide, pivot, any secret compartments?
Dopey was injured fighting against a mob of skeletons when he got "sleep'd"

Leudigar and Dopey meet up at the statues; two 8ft tall, awkward looking man/seahorse effigies that don't seem at home underground. The pair examine the stone work in detail, prodding and poke and searching for tell-tale seams in the stone. Ultimately they decide the unyielding stone work is legitimate; they don't find any secret compartment, hatch, lever, or door.

Meanwhile, Wetzel has hobbled over to the last door for a listen... but he can't discern any sound from beyond the iron bound door.
Searching dice 2d6=??

"If nobody has any strong preferences, the double door seems to be the most important one..."

Leudigar goes to the double door. Once everyone is assembled near it, he opens the door.
