Very good.
Desmond's story, the new acquisitions, and a new marching order are discussed before--finally--the company turns about and marches out of the Basal.
Desmond leads the way, in single file, up the curling stone stair, up the crater in the chapel floor and into the chapel once more. From there he leads everyone to the rear of the chapel and to the as yet untried door on the left of the rear wall. It stands closed before Desmond, and looks as though it will open into the chapel...

Desmond listens at the door and examines it for traps of any sort.
If he spies nothing out of the ordinary, he attempts to open the door.

Wen will take a healthy step or 2 back and ready the shot should anything burst through the door.

At the rear of the line, Olaf pauses to recover the ropes that stretched down the trapped hole in the floor, coils them and hangs them around his shoulder.
"We'll probably need these again before long." he remarks to Dorgan show is front of him in the line.

"Thank you, Olaf — a pity my lantern had to be left behind. May it bring the shadows no end of discomfort!"

| I suspect we're going to need a couple of light sources very shortly. Would be nice if we had a few objects with Continual Light cast on them so we didn't have to worry about it! |

ooc: Ulric has his and Wen would be happy to pass out candles or torches as needed. Until I get some magic armor my dancing light trick is gone.

Dorgan replies,
"I'd help ya, lad, but even that rope is too much for me right now. Gimme a few hours and I'll be back ta pulling my weight."
