A quick search of the Ogre, goblins and cave turns up a small cache of treasure. The Ogre has a belt pouch, which is the size of a small sack to you, filled with silver and gold. The goblins have various coins and you find a few other odds an ends in the junk scattered around.

Treasure:

2000 Silver Coins
500 Gold Coins
A small piece of carved Lapis Lazuli - [It is in the shape of a Djinn like figure*, the bottom has an "A" rune in Ancient Elwhen]
24 copper pieces
16 Gold Pieces
The Ogre's Club requires a 15+ Str and 2 hands to wield.

Meanwhile the Phadian, Alrik and Should gather around Hagwen the Elf and prepare to carry her out.

What next? Exits from the cavern are North or South.

| Does the club appear to be just a big branch? Or does it look special in any way? Like it could be more than just a stick?| | |

The ogres club appears to be a stout oak branch that was "fire hardened", it also has several small studs of melted silver around it. You can see in places that these have fallen off at points, and can be pried off if you wish. So it is not "just a branch" but some primitive craftsmanship was used to make it more formidable.

"Let's get everything gathered up and get back out of this cave. We need to be careful of the trip wire near the entrance. We need to find a safe place to hold up for a day or so. I am curious of that Djinn shaped item, that seems important."

Rhegaer helps pack up their findings. He takes the club, if just to pry out the silver studs later to sell, unless it is too bulky, in which case he'll leave it.

He follows the others out of the cave, avoiding the trip wire near the entrance.

Alrik raises his eyebrows at the carved Lapis Lazuli figure. "When we get back I can examine that Djinn figurine's magical properties," he says to Rhegaer.

Alrik helps the others carry Hagwen out.

Urist examines the considerable haul with a keen appraiser's eye. Silver! Gold! As for the ogre's club, while the Dwarf may have the requisite 15 strength to wield it, he would never use a weapon of such inferior craftsmanship, not even if it were enchanted to +3! He doesn't even dare give it a test-swing, lest it carry some goblin-curse.

He is stupefied by Hagwen's transformation and stoically takes his place as one of the elf maiden's pallbearers.

"My recollection is to get back to the entrance we head south, past a passage that heads east to kind of a Y. I think a left there. Lets go slowly and quietly so we do not alert more goblins and we can avoid the trip wire and line of silver on floor near entrance. After we get back to full strength we come back and properly avenge Hagwen's death."

So the party picks up the body of the Elf, whom they knew as Hagwen, and retraces their steps towards the entrance of this warren. It is not far and the path out does not lead through any chambers. You pass an opening on your left, and then an opening on you right, and finally come back to the three way that leads out. As you go to avoid the tripwire .....

mgt's roll comes to 6 [6 on 1d6]

Bad luck it seems some goblins are on the lookout. Surprise is skipped as the Party was prepared for more trouble and the Goblins are here looking for the intruders. But how many goblins are here?

mgt's roll comes to 1 [1 1 on 2d6 - 1].. A single goblin sent to scout the entrance?

Actions?

Rhegaer tries to silence the lone scout by throwing his spear through it.
