Flewellen and Ulric assists Olaf and Gustave, and both Men soon regain consciousness, but will require a good long rest to recover from their injuries.

meanwhile, Dieter continues to noisily chop and hack at the grisly remains of the swamp thing, but his sword is an ill-suited tool for the task. Once he has hacked off most of the leafy vines and tendrils, and smaller branches, what remains is hard bark and near-solid wood -- it now looks like nothing more than the gutted stump of a long dead tree.

Fix and Boris gather up some of the detritus and try to build up the fire, but much of it is coated in pond scum and slime, and it does not burn easily.

Eventually, there is nothing more to do than to bed down and wait for dawn, which is still several long cold hours away. Ulric and Padrig prepare to take up the dawn watch, as was originally planned, and everyone else prepares to get what sleep they can before dawn...

In the morning Padrig will line up all those in need of healing (Olaf, Mads,...) and cast The Supplication of Medicant Requite scroll spell and heal.

OOC: If I can can I keep the spell going and heal twice for Olaf, and others?

Padrig will collect all his things and his reseal his partial used oil. Put his armor on in readiness to stand guard.

The Knights of the Ivory Wold are magnanimous indeed, for the fair folk and those of the mountain halls are not, generally, on best terms.

Unfortunately, no. The magic of each spell scroll is unwound with but one single reading.

Padrig's best strategy is to await morning and then see who has fared best and worst before deciding whether or not to read his scrolls.
