Fair enough — although Armando wonders about the goods in his possession, namely the Orb and the Box. Perhaps these should be doled out to non-bean-eating characters before the "augmentation" begins? As a general question, what happens to a character's possessions upon consumption of one of these magic beans?

Just make sure whoever you give them to is Lawful. We have enough blind people of questionable morals as it is...

Beringar would be crying blood if he couldn't go back to grab his gear, so he's all for that. He is unaccustomed to magic, to say the least, and very superstitious to boot, so I'm not sure he'll be thrilled about those beans, however... Remember, he didn't see Ulric torch those goblins, so for now he assumes he's just an old man. He hasn't had enough time to ponder the situation -yet.

My general approach to this curly question is that mundane equipment is scaled with the affected person, but magic items are unaffected (unless specified otherwise). I.e., a wand of fireballs wouldn't become a wave motion cannon.
