Zem looks himself over and notices the wound the Hydra inflicted. "I could use an ale, if we are taking a rest."

Eris wrote:"Who is injured and needs help binding their wounds?" Manfreid asks then adds, "Then let's search this room and search it well. Only then should we withdraw to rest. That is my opinion."
"Yes, absolutely," Karl says. "Anyone injured, sing out."

Zem and Wetzel poke around the slain hydra, becoming acutely aware of its unhygienic stink, while Zax fetches his throwing axe and Leudigar moves to investigate the Hag's remains.

Akbar surveys the carnage while Fried and Karl being to organise a rest detail...
Team, I am going to presume that your stat lines are up to date in terms of hp. From theses it appears Zem, Wetzel, and Dopey are injured.

I'll have to go back thru the recent combat to determine what hp can be recovered in this forthcoming rest...

Leudigar finds the hag is wearing a filthy rope belt, a bone ring, and a long leather neck chain with a half a dozen stones tied into it at irregular intervals. Her tattered clothes seem more mud than cloth, and she has a rough belt sack that contains a handful of dirty coins, pebbles, and a live grubs.
Ref can't locate original notes on the hag, so decides to dice for magic items again; 3d100 = ...?

It appears that only Zem and The Herald were damaged by the hydra. Herald has moved into the next life, but Zem could benefit from a rest.

The hydra chamber is an irregular piece of dungeon architecture, with a 30ft wide "neck" to one end, and a more-or-less 50ft square "bottle" at the other end. There a pair of statues dimly visible at the far end of the neck, and four entries (including the one you used) into the bottle.

Zax stashes his ax in its sheath upon his back and, noticing the statues for the first time, decides he doesnt need a rest afterall.

He retrieves the torch The Herald had been carrying ("Sorry lad, but you'll not be need'n it where ur goin'") and runs a gnomish eye over the carvings.

"I could, too!" says Freid,"'Fraid I ain't got none...for internal or external application. I can pour some clean water on that wound and bind it up for you though."

Manfreid will bind Zem's wound.

Zem takes a breather, allowing Fried to practice his questionable leech-craft as he does so. Meanwhile, Zax saunters to the far end of the chambers to glare at the two statues--bizarre, 8ft tall figures that seem half-man and half-seahorse, and none too pleased about it.
Zem regains 2 hp bringing him to 5 of 6. Please update your sig. mgtremaine.
