Ulric loads his sling once more, his confidence in his aim growing. The odds below seem grim, but he dares not enter the fray directly. He spots the closest in the line of brigands not engaged with Victor or Andaros and fires again.
OOC: Ulric will fire if he has a clean shot. Brigands 4 and 5 appear to be clear of the melee.

Dieter climbs grimly to his feet and picks up his sword.
"Three ogres I killed, and this putz knocks me down?" He shakes his head as he kicks Sigmund's lifeless corpse. "I'm getting too old for this..."
Then he looks up at the melee still ongoing.
And he grins.
"Or maybe not..."

Olaf, from his prone position, points at the bowmen down the valley and croaks out, "Go get 'em! I'll follow as soon as I can get up."

Pelenwin looks at his wound. Although nearly fatal and deliberating, nothing holds back a Knight of the Seal. Pelenwin races to charge the archers. They don't call him Pelenwin the Brave for nothing.

Morale is rolled (1d6).
"Wulfric is felled!" cries one of the surly brigands, and the hearts of all those left standing are deflated when they see it is true -- and spy also the victorious fighters come bounding toward them across the gully.
From up on the ridge, Ulric finds and launches another stone from his sling (1d20=10) but then curses in the Draconic tongue as his shot falls short.
Only a few more blows are parried before the brigands abandon the fight altogether, and turn to flee for their lives. Andaros (1d20=8) and Victor (1d20=15) pounce after them, hacking at their backs as the rough Men scuttle. Andaros steps awkwardly and misses his opportunity, only landing glancing blows as those about him flee. But Victor makes solid contant, planting his woodsman's axe squarely between the shoulders of one of the knaves (2dd=4,6) for a crushing 6 hit points, bringing the fellow down with an abrupt squeal.
The remaining four brigands are scattering in into the cold, grassy hills...
