Coln and Rhegaer voice their opinion, Hagwen shrugs and starts searching the room. Then listens at each door.....
eAsp:roll 3d6
mgt's roll comes to 10 [4 3 3 on 3d6]
Hagwen's methodical once over takes a good 5 minutes, and the end of which she finds and hears nothing. But she is certain that the West door is more used then the East door. Coln agrees by the look of the faint tracks on the stone floor, and Aurora sniffs at the West door and wags her tail and gives a short bark.

Alrik, taking in the discussion, says to the group "Very well, let us explore a bit more. As long as I can study my spellbook at first opportunity. Now, judging by the dog's reaction to that door, I'd say it won't be long before we find some more company."
Alrik grips his dagger and moves back from the door, letting the fighter-types take the lead.

"Onward seems to be the consensus"
Gets some indirect light on the door, but ready to shine light right into the eyes of any people/critters behind the door when it is opened.

West door it is...
Rhegaer waits until everyone is ready, then opens the door.

Rhegaer carefully opens the west door. Beyond it he sees a short corridor 10' that extends west and branches south. To the west the corridor passes through and archway where a room beyond can be seen, illuminated by many source of light. The faint sound of boiling liquids and the hiss of steams can be heard, the heavy smell of sulfurs and other acrid scents is hard to ignore.
To the south the corridor runs straight and beyond your sight.
Choices?

Sets our light source down inside our current room facing a wall. Shrugs at Hagwen in answer to her question. Get out sling and sets a stone in it, so it is ready.
