My missus gave me a set of unmarked six-sided dice for Christmas this year; which means I can do this with them :D

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. Mom is still in the hospital. When she recovers from the intestinal infection that set in after her heart attack the MD is going to do a heart cath and maybe put in a stent to open her artery up bit more. Mom's 92, so there's a higher risk that the Doc won't be able to help her, and the procedure has a higher risk of doing her harm, but she's still up to try...so we try.

I'm back at the college prepping classes, they start tomorrow. I drive over to the hospital and stay an hour or two, drive back to the campus and prepare lessons for an hour or two, and repeat until I drive home and crash. I actually took a break to eat while sitting in front of my computer so I decided to check in on the game.

Where is the nearest town/city not named Ket?

Indeed... Remember ways let slip that he never thought the party would stay in Ket so long and they have not even gotten into the Hinterlands.... Perhaps it is time to move on. Still seems like 1000sp left behind and the quest for the sisters AND several of us need to sleep in a town to gain a level. :( What a mess.

Well, we could pose as evil adventurers and see if Bennug would vouch for us...

Or we could send a stealth mission to Ket to see if the Sisters can be rescued, if indeed they still live. I care less about the money than getting Olaf back to full strength.

But if we rescue the Sisters, we could attempt to fully clean out the Monastery, put the Sisters there, and make that our new base of operations.

Or maybe it's time to turn to banditry and start picking off goblin patrols on the roads?

I'm curious to learn what the goblins will be eating themselves now that they've sacked all the outlying farms. An army is only as strong as its supply lines.

More than ever, we need the blind hobbits not blind anymore. I still think giving Josiane some time to study the staff would be helpful to that particular situation...

I also wonder what Sir Eberhardt the Boar got up to?... Didn't we sort of drop that Ket was over run with Goblins?

Agreed. I think sending half the group back to the ruined keep to let Josiane study the relics and the other half scrounging for food and info on Ket is a good idea.

If he ran into those giants, we might find his squashed remains somewhere outside Ket's walls.
