Meanwhile Desmond joins the coin counting in the mess hall...

Desmond's eyes light up at the sight of the huge pile of shiny coins of the floor. It is a small fortune!

By Gustave's quick estimation it will be very heavy -- more perhaps that even he and Dieter could handle.

What is more, unbinding the chains will likely result in the whole kit collapsing!
"This looks like our best escape, but I fear I may not be of much help, so lets get some strong men to extend this kit. You Gustave and Olaf and Andaros are our best bet", says Wibert and trots off.

Wibert will get the other strong guys and then help with the coin packing and share the last of the food we have cooked before we leave the keep.

But all too soon it becomes clear that it is a lone wolf rider incoming. He will arrive at the camp within 10 minutes.
Olaf calls down to the others, "Wolf rider incoming from the north. He appears to be about 10 minutes out."

"Probably, the same one that left a bit ago coming back with a message of some sort." Olaf adds, "If reinforcements are coming, they should be..."

Olaf estimates in his head, "Oh, about 30 minutes behind the messenger."

Olaf will help with the "bridge", but we still need some eyes up on the battlements to keep an eye on the goblins and the possible reinforcements coming from the north.

What contains do you plan to stow the Ogres' silver in?

Do you want to use one of the chests (which would be easy to pack, but more difficult to haul) or other peoples' packs and/or other containers, which will be more difficult to pack, but easier to haul once it is done.

Highbough doesn't have a lot of room in his backpack, but he'll carry as much as he can.

I say we pack as much as each person can carry without becoming encumbered and then put the rest in the chest to carry (if there is left-over).
