Dorgan looks over at Gustave.
"Sure did get quiet on the other side of the wall... We better hurry up."

Torben
'Goblins somehow seem the safer bet, now.' Torben muses. Atop the catwalk, he lowers his body to make himself a smaller target, all the while readying his bow.

Beringar swallows hard and prepares to give the beasts a proper reception. This time with his new bow.

Olof snorts quietly and nocks an arrow, carefully aims and lets it fly down on one of the prowling wolves. He will repeat this action again as quickly as he can.
"Let's see what effect the bite of an arrow has upon you Sir Wolf." Olaf says under his breath.

Gustave purses his lips, glancing up at the peaceful facade above with a furrowed brow. He offers
Dorgan a leg-up before following himself.

Highbough, unnoticed, has now vanished entirely.
Torben, Beringar, Desomond/Mondes, and Olaf--at various locales along the wall--unsling their bows and ready arrows. Oalf looses a single, deadly missile d20=2 but in the roiling fog he can't be sure even whether he's hit or missed. The shadowy bulk of his intended target doesn't seem to react as if hit, but it swings its heavy head low and quick toward him, and growls ominously as it starts to lope, then rush toward him!
The other shadowy wolf-figures in the mist now seem to have caught on, and turn toward the outer walls also. From where Desmond/Mondes is positioned, he sees another heavy-set wolf-figure lingering almost directly below him in the entry, and hears it sniffing the air harshly in his general direction.
Meanwhile, Dorgan has his hands upon the battlement and is hauling himself over. Gustave is halfway up the wall, on Olaf's rope.

Seeing they've been spotted, Desmond fires two arrows at the beast directly below him, hoping the creature is unable to make a 10' vertical jump.

Once atop the roof, Dorgan will wield Mads Cold Iron Axe and secure his shield upon his arm. Then he will survey the battlefield and see what the heck everyone is shooting arrows at.

Olaf will fire another arrow, and then still another at the approaching wolf-thing.

Ulric peers into the growing fog and picks out four of the clearest targets (if he can). He then casts his Hyperbole Fulmination, launching shrieking, fiery missiles from his palms that arc out into the courtyard in search of their targets (targeting one wolf-thing per missile summoned).
