(017) A closer look at the Gatehouse

Then he picks the crowbar up and looks around for Dieter. "Now where did Dieter get off to... ? Well, I'll just hold on to this until he gets back." Desmond sticks the crowbar in his pack.

Finally, turning to the newcomer, he pips, "Well met, Koch!" Desmond looks around again. "You say you were a prisoner here? Ummm... who umm... who locked you up?" And he looks around again with a confused look on his face. "'Cause I don't see anyone around here." He shrugs his shoulders and continues, "Well, anyway, you can start by helping me to count up this coin!"

Desmond plops down on the ground and starts counting the coins that spilled out of the box (and the ones that remained inside it, too).

After jealously eyeing the coins, KOCH shakes his head and says, "While I'd love to join you in your counting, I think it may be best to pack them up and head inside. I'm not sure how safe it is to stay out in the open here. Let's head in and find some more treasure to take!"

KOCH helps gather the coin back into the box.

After Koch introduces himself, Olaf will question Nidhogg, "So, dwarf, what happened when you came up here yesterday to lead the bandits out into a trap?"

"Where is this basement you found? We should make sure all the surface structures are clear before we go delving into any more cellars and dungeons. That includes all four towers."

Ulric starts to make his way toward the opposite tower.
