Power came back over the weekend. No flooding to speak of, though our area rivers are definitely swollen. At least one confirmed tornado sighting. Lots and lots of downed trees.

Mike (/user/1291mgtremaine) has kindly set up a service to generate an image of my editgrid PC summary spreadsheet every hour, and host the resulting image on his server.

The result is: we can now see an image of the PC summary spreadsheet in the "Present Company Again" thread.

It's not quite as legible as the live spreadsheet, perhaps, but it's certainly better than nothing at all!

Thanks be to Mike

Apologies for the delay guys, I've been procrastinating overly

(I've spent undue hours counting Outdoor Survival hexes this week in an attempt to figure out IF you're in THIS hex, what are the odds the next hex will be woods, open, mountains, etc.). Crazy? Yes.

Did you make an Excel Spreadsheet to do the analysis, if not then you are procrastinating! We need charts and graphs to really understand the issues. ;p

I'll be reporting back, don't worry.

So far I've counted every hex and determined the frequency of each terrain type and feature.

Then, for every hex I'm recording what terrain types the six adjacent hexes are. I'm about half way done with that.

The result will be a table for random hex determination based on the frequencies that occur in Outdoor Survival.

The only issue I see with it at the moment is there is no coast in OS. Still considering whether I should do anything about that or not.
