"It sounds like the best plan is to try and draw a few into an ambush and then silence the remaining? Do we want to set Wraist up to be ready to cast that spell on the remaining moat house guards after Tass pulls some of them towards an ambush spot? With the day coming to an end, they will be tired and maybe weary of work; it's a good time to surprise them. If it's possible to take any of them alive, we should do that."
Goldwen checks her armour to make sure the straps are tight and readies her mace, should she need it.
Let's go before we get another WM check!

"We might also consider," muses Wrasitln, "that they are not at all hostile to us..."

So.... if I understand correctly...
1. Tass will trot 10-15 minutes back down the pathway toward the moat house, with Wraislin in tow.
2. Meanwhile, the rest of the party will conceal themselves in the woods around their current position.
3. When Tass and Wraislin get near to the moat house, Wraislin will hide somewhere out of the way, while...
4. Tass draws the guards' attention and, hopefully, leads some of them back toward the player position. Note: at this point, Tass doesn't know precisely where his friend are hidden.
5. When Tass and his pursuit get back to the main party, everyone will jump out of hiding (no one holds back) to surprise/ambush the pursuit and beat them up (so, straight into melee; no use of missiles). Note: assuming surprise is achieved, the distance will be 1-3".
6. Meanwhile... Wraislin, who is now all alone, will sleep whoever is left at the moat house. And hope their are none unaffected?
Any adjustments to this before it all happens?

Not sure about the whole Wraislin hiding alone in the woods thing.
1) Tass yes, but see 2
2) We all start together to pick the ambush spot so Tass knows where the heck is pulling to.
3) No Wraislin
4) Tass yes, but see 2
5) Basically.
6) Wraislin still with party...

1. The entire party quietly makes their way to where the woods end and the moathouse comes into view.
2. Everyone but Tass will conceal themselves at the edge of the woods. Garamon, Stern, and Flin up front, the others in the second rank.
3. Tass draws the guards' attention and, hopefully, leads some of them back toward the player position.
4. When Tass and his pursuit get back to the main party within 30 yards, Thanis and Witherun fire missiles at Tass' pursuers.
5. This is the signal for everyone else to jump out of hiding (no one holds back) to surprise/ambush the pursuit and beat them up (so, straight into melee).
6. Assuming the ambush goes well, we then head to the moathouse.

No no, Wraislin charges the moathouse by himself, a rabid war cry spewing from his lips

Agree with the above particularly about keeping the MU safe. Such frail creatures they are.

Then let's do as Thanis suggests!

Tass jumps up to his feet "This is going to be so much fun! Come on follow me." He pauses, "Oh but do try and be quiet, especially you Flin. Oh and you too Garamon.", and pauses again "Uh, well pretty much all of you other then Thanis are pretty noisy...So shhhhhh we need to be sneaky."
