Mads takes the coin purse, but leaves the lizard. He regards the hobgoblin curiously and pulls his blade away from the creature's neck. "Bertee is safe with you." He muses for a moment. "What's your name?"

The hobgoblin snatches the dried lizard away and covets it like a prized pet for a moment, before suddenly realising that Mads is still looking over him.

He stuffs the lizard back into his jerkin protectively before straightening his shoulders somewhat and muttering, "Am's called Snart,".

"Tha vault," he says suspiciously... "is in there?". He points at the door which Rufus is inspecting, wary of some trap of logic that he hasn't yet grasped.

"Rufus," he calls. "Would you mind if my friend, Snart, here, opened that door for you? I'm sure he would know of any traps on the door..." He points his sword down at the hobgoblin. "Right?" he asks calmly, with only a hint of accusation.

Wendel coughs and wheezes in the background.

Snart looks askance from the corpses of his fellows, to Mads' sword, to the door with a worried frown.

"We can't opens da door," he hisses unhappily, "It's lock-ed, it is."

Rufus stops what he is doing and waved back to Mads and calls back, "No problems, happy for Snart to open the door".

Rufus moves back from the door, has a though and looks above it for any numbers...

Then he will keep a sword and dagger ready and keep in the shadows, when Snart opens the door.

While Rufus is waiting he will search the dead hobgoblin bodies for anything of value, like a key.

Rufus does not what to move rocks so he goes back, and does an other search for traps around the door, its frame, the floor and above the door, and the handle and lock. Then have an other listen on the door. Just to be on the safe side.

"Wendel be a good person a nd hold a light up for me to see better. I want an other look at this door to make sure its safe to open. Thanks", says Rufus.
