Protected by a rocky ridge, Gustave tears beautiful fabric from his finely tailored shirt and hastily stanches Ulric's wound as Andaros unstops his water skin and splashes the cold fluid over Ulric's face.
When there is no response he does so again, then slaps the ailing wizard smartly.
Ulric's eyes snap open and he grasps Andaros' wrist in his cold, bony claw before the fighting-Man can slap him again...
"Don't. Even. Think it." breaths Ulric.
(Ulric has recovered 1 hit point.)

Ulric pushes himself up into a sitting position and looks around.
"How's the battle going," he asks. The battle cries, screams of agony, and clash of steel rising from the other side of the ridge quickly answers Ulric's question. "We should help our comrades."
Ulric low crawls back to the top of the ridge to see for himself and to look for targets for his sling or arcane fire.

Olaf fients left then drives forward just as Wulfric looks to parry to his right, but then crashes forward. The young fighter meets the bear-sized murderer with a stunning clash of arms (1d20; Olaf=16, Wulfric=18)! Wulfric (2dd=6,4) smashes Olaf's sheild arm mightily, peircing shield and arm, and numbing the whole left side of Olaf's body for 8 hit points! At the very same moment Olaf slashes his broad bladed sword deeply across Wulfric's trunk-thick belly (2dd=4,4) for a gruesome 10 hit points!!
Olaf never recovers his balance, staggering for a moment more, then collapsing with a clatter (0 of 10 hit points).
And down goes Olaf! With his last thoughts before going unconscious, Olaf thinks, "Here I go again...."

Well, Olaf is not strictly unconscious -- unless you want to play it that way. Otherwise, he is still capable of a slow crawl/drag and of begging weakly for aid...

"Good to have you back my friend", says Gustave, helping Ulric to his feet, "now, if you would be so kind as to lob a little arcane nastiness over there somewhere" he adds, indicating the ridge.
He gives Ulric a beaming grin, then pulls a dagger and pops his head up to search for a target.

With his craftiness, of course
Wibert thinks he could backstab Sigmund. It would take a round to clamber down the to the gully floor and get into position though...
