Ulric moves in behind the others to investigate the chamber.

He looks over the large wolf carefully to see if he recognizes it's nature.

"Perhaps this beast was guarding something important?" Ulric muses aloud.

Ulric looks over his shoulder briefly.

"Someone should keep watch on our exit and make sure we don't get trapped in here."

"We stand!" Josiane says in clear, commanding tones, her eyes flashing grey fire.

Then, turning her burning gaze upon the onrushing foe...

"I am Josiane the Guided, called The Vagabond Knight! I reclaim this abbey in the name of Almighty Thuul, Saint Tamar and Saint Madelaine! You who are not of the Faith, depart now in peace or face battle!"

If I have it aright and the passage outside the library is wide enough for two people, she will let Dieter move up to stand beside Dorgan and do what he does best, while she supports from the second rank with magic.

"Prisoners, please", she whispers frantically to her warlike front-line...

"Ah yes...er, nice job Rufus, I'd say you have him there" says Gustave without any true enthusiasm as Rufus digs into the smoking carcass with his dagger.

"I have not seen the likes of this creature before", he says to Armando, "and, though tales of the hounds of corruption I have heard - this...", he emphasizes with a raised brow at the furred mass, "...is a tale to be told!"

Wen would do his best to not get into anyone's way, but still try to get himself a clear line of sight on any enemies. Once the Irascible Leer up he would focus on trying to damage anyone he can with it, while also directing the floating candles to whirl and distract as best as he can.

Dorgan drops the Marrowstone at his feet (if possible, kicking it back through the door) and draws Mads Cold Iron Axe. He will stand aside, giving room for others to emerge, and await the charge of these robed Men.

In a hissed whisper: "Someone grab the Stone off the floor!"

He will answer violence with violence.

Having gleaned little from the body of the beast, Torben will shield up and slowly move into the large room. "A little light?" he asks quietly.

Dieter shakes his head as he moves to his place in the front.

"No promises," he mutters. "Depends on them, more than me."
