Josiane limps deckwards to see what new peril threatens the company...

"A serious inconvenience!" complains Ulric as some of those sheltering within the hull steel themselves for the blasted wind outside, before pushing back out INTO THE HOT LOUDNESS once more.

With all the acursed sand stinging their faces, and the blistering heat drying their eyes, it's hard to see what have gotten Olaf all worked up. Our bold heroes take vantage on the skiff's deck and squint into the desert-scape mutely, peering vainly into the wind in the direction Olaf emphatically indicates with his arm, but there's little to glimpse other than the sand-flailed, red ridge of the crater-dune, about 60 yard or so off...

Perhaps the heat is getting to him? Hold up, a minute... what's that? Is that just more sand flaying in the wind? That is more sand being flung up for sure; wait, now that's a LOT more sand being flung way up high in a broadening front. Whatever's coming this way, it must be the size of a Mammoth. The deck is now quivering beneath their feet. Make that a herd of Mammoths!!

Any last minute orders?

From what direction are the sand megalodons coming, in relation to the skiff and the direction the party needs to head (the fortress that is second from the right of the current fortress)?

Now that the rest of the party is coming out to join us, Dieter will move forward to meet Olaf/intercept whatever the hell that thing is. I don't want my friend out there facing that thing alone. But I'd also like to stop it before it gets to the party, if possible.

"I intend to jump as high as I can when that dune get's here, maybe I can get up high enough to make it's top or vault over it." Olaf tells Dieter as he moves in beside him
