I was wondering how that worked. I kinda just assumed it was because he was third level but happy to hear the legend of Mads is still alive and kicking!

Do you really have 1,000 different boons!?!?

I'd like to ask a favor of Ways and all of you, if I might. Please avoid the use of the square brace characters "(" and ")" and substitute "{" or "}" respectively, instead. Or some other character.
I generally read these boards on the ProBoard app on my iTouch, and the reader doesn't display anything written between the square brace symbols. I suppose it assumes they contain formatting code or raw html tags or something; since they are obviously not such, they just end up not being displayed.
I don't always recognize when this is happening, although sometimes I can tell when something has been left out by the app and can look it up in a regular browser. The app is handy because it reformats and enlarges the print for the small screen.
Many thanks for your kind consideration!

A blank post is a bit of a giveaway. I'm worried about missing parenthetical remarks embedded in longer posts.

Sorry. Just messin' with ya.
I think most of what you might be missing is just Ways' indication of what dice he is rolling. I don't think anyone else ever uses the square brackets.

I've been using brackets (aka "square brackets") to show meta-gaming information. None of that is essential, but it can be informative. I've also noticed that they don't show up on my phone -- which is a bit annoying. I will hereafter use braces (aka "curly brackets") instead.
