Alas, from his bleary eyed position upon the ground, Ulric spies the knave whose noggin he cracked still staggering off toward his fellows (number 1 on the mud-map). These rough-and-ready tramps are apparently made of stern stuff!
(Eyre Tor's average Man -- with average constitution -- has 1d6+2 hit points, while an average 1st level fighter has 1d6+3 hit points).

(S)igmund and (W)ulfric and engaged in furious melee with (M)ads and (D)ieter, with (P)elenwin and (H)ighbough also charging in. So Wibert's safest option is to fire at 4, 5 or 6.

Mads redoubles his efforts, and somehow swings the momentum against Sigmund -- deftly parrying his initial hail of blows and making a swift series of counter strikes (1d20=16) and this time landing a startling blow (2dd=3,3) on his snide antagonist for 6 hit points!
But Dieter fares worse against his fierce opponent -- scarcely able to penetrate Wulfric's solid defenses. Dieter pushes himself harder and in his frustration to make contact over-reaches himself (1d20=1). Wulfric -- clearly a well drilled fighting Man -- takes immediate advantage of Dieter's error (1d20=17) clanging him over the head with a brutally swift blow of his many pronged morning star (2dd=4,1) for 6 hit points -- punching spikes through Dieter's helm so that it sticks to the weapon like a speared fish as Dieter's head is dashed free, flinging blood in a visceral arc as he is momentarily appears to sail horizontally in mid air, and then clatters to the ground as a sack of armourer's spares.
"That one's fer Garth!" glowers Wulfic, then his wild eyes go wider as Highbough charges into the melee aiming his deadly spear for Sigmund, but instead finding Wulfric dead ahead. Not a moment after Dieter is cast aside, Highbough leaps over his brother-in-arms and plunges his spear-point at Wulfric (1d20=5) but the burly warrior is already pulling back with professional balance, and deflects the blow off his shield.
Mads scarcely notices any of this in his periferal vision as Sigmund counters smartly, finding new pace and (1d20=14) stabbing him in the thigh with a thrust of his sword for (2dd=1,4) 4 hit points just as Pelenwin joins the fray -- and with an almighty swing of his pole-axe (1d20=3) forces Mads, more than Sigmund, to evade.
"What, two against one now? That is hardly gentlemanly!" sneers Sigmund, pulling back so that both Pelenwin and Mads remain to his front.

Olaf, meanwhile, leads the other Men forward -- Boris, Fix and Victor -- all following after him. But before he enters the melee proper, Olaf pauses to bend his bow once more (1d20=13) and this time the range is less, and his aim is true. His arrow strikes the Man adjacent to him that Wibert has just bought down (1dd=5) and punctures him through the chest for 5 hit points. But even this serious wound is not enough to finish the hardy fellow.
Of the brigands, one fellow from either end of the line seem to be making off into the surrounds, while the remainder still ply their bows. Those at the eastern end fire at the retreating figures of Gustave and Andaros (2d20=7,4) to no avail, while the remainder aim toward the incoming company members.
Target selection (1=Fix, 2=Boris, 3=Victor, 4=Olaf; 3d4=2,4,3). One of the four is killed by Wibert before firing, the other three loose their missiles (3d20=11,4,16). Boris is narrowly missed again, but Olaf is struck for (1dd=2) 2 hit points.
