Post frequency is up to you. I try to update the game most days (thou this week just gone by has certainly been slower), but there are at least a dozen PCs in play at the moment, and each posts at his own pace. Some post every day, some post once once a fortnight, it's whatever works for you. Those who post frequently will appear to be energetic, chatterbox PCs, while those who post infrequently will appear to have quieter, slower, or lazier PCs.

That's the beauty of OD&D. I'll handle the mechanics behind the scenes -- if you want to know how stuff works during play, I'll tell you. But otherwise, all you need to do is to respond to the situation in character.

Another neat thing about OD&D is you don't really need to know much background either. The idea is that you pick it up along the way, so I'll give you the essentials as you need them, and the rest you can pick up from the other players during the game. I'm not sure what's meant about "losing Mushgnome"? He's been an active player in this game for a couple of years, and it would be a loss if he were to vanish, but there are other players who have been here even longer, and as I mentioned above, there are about a dozen players running at the moment.

I believe this is a reference to Mushgnome concluding his game, which probably happened too soon for Dogma and AQuebman, as they'd just recently joined.

waysoftheearth is a very dedicated DM, and we haven't even reached the Hinterlands yet, so I'm not too worried about the future of this game.
