Repast is taken as these plans are other tales are exchanged and the early afternoon begins to grow a trifle warm.
Wen and Armando are faced with the choice of continuing on to Ket, or falling in with this very capable seeing company to see how they deal with The Boar... and whatever else lies ahead of them in these Hinterlands...

Wen would be more then happy to forgo going to Ket and join up with the party if they will allow it, especially after the rumors of Ket's dangers. Ket sounds like a place he does not wishes to approach alone and unaided.

Careful now...
What's the worst that could happen? ;D

"So, Ogreslayer, what say you ta the upcomin' challenge from ol' Sir Eberhart?" - Dorgan waves in the general direction of the pavilion - "You aimin' ta take 'em up on the proposition? Or ya want me to take a shot at 'em first and you ken see what's he made of?"
"It depends,"
Dieter says slowly. "What do I get if I win? And what do it lose if I don't?
"There are those," and his eyes flicker toward Josiane, "who seem to think I fight for the fun of it. But I never have, and I never will. Those who do are arrogant bastards asking for trouble.

Josiane looks genuinely hurt. She never thought anything of the kind!
Feeling a sudden ache in her throat and a stinging at the corners of her eyes she turns her attention to
Murphy's feedbag, grateful to have something to distract her.

"My estimation of fair Ket has, I confess, somewhat diminished over the course of this most enlightening conversation," announces Armando, chewing a tidbit of smoked mollusk plucked from a delicate ceramic jar with bone tweezers. "Indeed it would be fair to say that, at the present time, a visit to Ket is strictly off my agenda. It would thus seem pertinent to offer my services, as such, to the present company."

With the last of the noon time delicacies consumed, and intentions for the short term established, the newly expanded company stow their respective packs and set off toward the cross-road where The Boar is encamped.
There is time yet to plan your approach, although the good Knight appears to have positioned a Man on a low bluff that stands one hundred yards nearer you than his pavilion, and it is clear that this lookout will have observed you as you dined.
It is fair to assume that The Boar will already be aware of your presence in the vicinity...
What now?

Wen and Armado both observed that Sir Eberhart surrounds himself with a company of some dozen seasoned fighters and no fewer than a score of servants. And a mysterious, robed "advisor" whose face is always hidden.
They are rough and rowdy sorts who enjoy good food and drink in plentiful supply, with a few friendly fights and hunts for sport. They are ever eager for a more serious test of arms, and armour and horses have been won and lost. Their talk centers mostly on awful tales brought back with them from their time on some "campaign" in far off lands, and most of them seem quite keen to be back to it.
Eberhart seems ready to offer his hospitality to visitors, and has apparently been entertaining a few guests from Ket -- presumably gathering gossip in the meanwhile.
There's no telling how he might react to an armed company approaching...
