So, if the Sisters that were run off came back. Can't you get the local Mother Superior...or whatever...to write us a note to carry back to her boss in Ket? The job was to "visit the abbey"...done..."securing it once again if possible"...maybe done..."search the place for our Holy texts and chattels, and return them to us here."...if the first two are done we can skip the last. Although, we'll still be short on money unless we find some loot for ourselves somewhere in all this.

Retreating to the front isn't leaving. It is making sure we secure the front door so we can let the rest of our party in and make sure none of the bandits can leave this soon-to-be-charnel house...
