Hang on, did we check to see if the bolts were magic?

If not, Rhod will use his sword's Detect Magic ability. That would also tell us if the boxes were magic too, right?

If we retcon a bit, all 12 bolts radiate the same amount of magic, and the boxes radiate none

Then we grab all 12 bolts and proceed.

(Unless taking them all triggers something.)

Does anybody in the party have a crossbow?

"Well done, Rhod! Magic bolts just lying around, who would have thought?" exclaims Wiglaff.

"Let's try this next door, then."

MAPPER: The door opens onto a 20' N/S x 30' E/W room. The extra 10' extends south of the door. On the north wall, extreme west end, is a corridor leading north.

This room has ten pouches arranged neatly against the west wall

"Lucky find with the crossbow bolts!" says Franklin.

He gently kicks at one of the pouches with his toe, to make sure it's not full of bees or anything like that.

Wiglaff moves forward with Franklin till he can peek his head around and see up the north corridor.

He hears the jingle of coins. The bags all seem to have name on in Elvish script
