"All things considered, I think your sturdy shoulder, Master Dwarf, is our best recourse," says Josiane; "That will cause the least damage and be the easiest to offer recompense for should our suspicions prove groundless."waysoftheearth wrote:All things being equal, Drogan (strength 14) has a 3 in 6 chance of forcing stuck doors. With his axe, he can most certainly break it down.
Mads also has sorcerous means of dealing with the door, if needs be, but it won't be discrete.
Josiane nods emphatically, tenses... relaxes with an exhalation and a roll of the eyes at the anti-climax, then tenses again...sulldawga wrote:"No killin'... 'less they try en kill us first."
With that, the dwarf will turn around, take a step or two away from the door, his body tensing... and then, with a sheepish grin, he'll walk back up to the door and try the handle. If it's unlocked, he'll push it in.
If not, back a couple steps and then shoulder to the door with all his might!
Dorgan doesn't know for certain, but before he started doubting himself, he was convinced they were Goblins. No taller than a Dwarf, they were, in any case. He supposes it might be possible they were in fact younglings of Men... it's hard to be sure now.sulldawga wrote:OOC: Do I know what the thieves who took my coinpurse look like?
