Urist has drawn off one of the goblins with his threat of death. So the vicious skirmish goes on.

Results:
Goblin attacks Rhegaer
mgt's roll comes to 20 [20 on 1d20] - HIT
mgt's roll comes to 5 [5 on 1d6] - DAMAGE

Goblin attacks Urist
mgt's roll comes to 19 [19 on 1d20] - HIT
mgt's roll comes to 4 [4 on 1d6] - DAMAGE

Rhegaer wounded and enraged attacks mgt's roll comes to 13 [13 on 1d20] - HIT
mgt's roll comes to 5 [5 on 1d6] - KILLED

Urist also wounded mgt's roll comes to 1 [1 on 1d20] - MISS

Results: The goblins suddenly become vicious as they realize the threat to their home, they nearly kill the two fighters. But for one of them his sudden onslaught ends quickly at the end of Rhegaer's spear. While the other is already wounded and failed to kill the dwarf as needed although he certainly put him off balance for the round.

One remaining Goblin who is already wounded by Urist..... Speak up if anyone besides Urist and Rhegaer enter this, hopefully, final round.

PS - Remember our house rule allow you to sacrifice your shield to prevent a blow. You just let me know after the round results.

Phadian

Looking clearly concerned moves up to cast Cure Light Wounds on Rhagaer. Will attend to Urist at first opportunity after that.

Rhegaer shugs off the wound and tries to finish off the last goblin.

"Don't worry about me... watch this!" Urist pounds the last goblin with his war hammer.

Hagwen draws the Elven dagger which suddenly sheds bright light, Urist and Rhegaer close in for the kill.....

Results:
Goblin attacks Urist
mgt's roll comes to 8 [8 on 1d20]- MISS

Urist finds his balance and atttacksmgt's roll comes to 9 [9 on 1d20]] - MISS

Rhegaer attacks mgt's roll comes to 7 [7 on 1d20] - MISS

Hagwen attacks attacks mgt's roll comes to 14 [12 on 1d20 +2] - HIT
mgt's roll comes to 2 [2 on 1d6] - KILLED

Results: The warriors surround the last goblin who puts up a good defense but alas Hagwen's dagger cleaves through the crude shortsword meant to parry it, and buries itself in the goblins shoulder. The goblin dies soon thereafter.

Silence falls around the party.... Phadian casts a spell of healing on Rhegaer. mgt's roll comes to 5 [4 on 1d6 +1], the wounds Rhegaer took from the goblin disappear.

What now? The party is in a wide tunnel that is strewn with dead goblins. The passages go North (another 3 way up ahead), West (goblin room), or East (exit).

Rhegaer the Red

Rhegaer once again goes about the gruesome task of searching the dead for loot.

OOC: Of course this is all party loot to be divided evenly. Someone has to do it, though.

Phadian

Looks pleased and amazed at the result of his first spell on Rhagaer. Peers at Urist's wound in concern.

"I need some time to tend to Urist's wounds, maybe we can back up a bit into one of the side tunnels and we can get some cover while patch that up?"

Rhegaer the Red

Rhegaer does take a moment to thank Phadian for the healing. "You healed me completely," he says with a grunt, then goes back to pilfering the dead.

"Good boy, Squishy! You stayed away from the goblin and gave Daddy room to swing his hammer." Urist throws the dog a treat from his ration-bag.

He turns his attention to the others. "Well, the goblins know about us now, and that's that. We can hunker down here and let them throw wave after wave of expendables at us, or we can find their boss, root the tribe out of their lair, and take all their loot. My vote should be obvious. Are we done with this prisoner, or shall we ask it a few more questions?"
