Flewellen removes Rodrick's coat of ringmail, and Crystin's leather carapace so that both the slain warriors are adorned only in loose linen shirts and hose.

Caine carries Crystin and Taines carries Rodrick out to the freshly turned graves that Dieter has dug.

There is a chill on the whipping wind as first Caine, then Taines pass the bodies down to Dieter, who lays them down in the thigh deep graves, and then hoists himself out.

"Amanage an eilumn annun," mutters Anwyn wistfully as she places a few broken Goblin spears and helms at the feet of the fallen.

Then there is an awkward moment before Dieter ungracefully begins to shovel the stones and cold earth over the bodies, and continues without word until the labourious task is done.

"Where's a priest when you need one?" grumbles Victor and spits, but nobody seems particularly to notice him, and in a few more moments it begins to rain properly...

As the proceedings close and the drizzle sets in, Olaf the sharp eyed notes a lone figure trudging up the hill toward you -- a fighting-man of sorts, although he does not appear aggressive.

As he draws nearer you note he is no "Man" at all, for he is of the fair folk of the Ivory Wold, an Elf...

(Padrig, your adventures have begun. Good luck!)

"Ho!" Olaf calls out over his shoulder at the group around the hastily dug graves, "Company's coming!"

He then quickly adds, "A lone elf is coming up the hill from the direction of the road."

Olaf will step forward wave at the Elf and call out, "Come join us, good Elf!"

"Hello good man, it is nice indeed to be greeted with a smile and not a sword this day", says Padrig.
"I am Sir Padrig Wynne, a Knight of the Ivory Host. If your quest be true and you be noble people I would like to aid you good fellows. For I seek those in need of my assitance. Can I be off any aid to you?"

Padrig raises an elven eye at the site of the dead goblins on the ground and those tied up.

And also at the sight of the two fresh graves this odd little band are gathered about... and that one of them present is of the Elvish folk herself.

"Hiya," says Anwyn the Elf-maiden to Padrig non-committally and in the common tongue.

"I wouldn't trust theez murdering brigands, if I'z you," snorts the fat, bound Hobgoblin from the back of the band before Taines the Dwarf gives him a solid whack over the back of his head to quiet him.

"Hello fair maiden", says Padrig to Anwyn.

Looking towards the fresh dug graves Padrig speaks, "do my eyes deceive me or is that Elvish kind lying slain by those graves." Padrig walks over and kneels by the bodies and states, "This is a follow elf, what a bad day this has been." Padrig's eyes open up wide in surprise, "I know this elf maiden, for see it is Krystin a fellow Knight of The Mighty Heledd whom we serve. This is indeed a dark day, may I offer up prayers for these two for their heroic acts in this life, so that there souls my rest in peace."

Padrig gathers some information about the two slain heros. He praises the life and victories of brave Sir Rodrick Baerrik and Krystin Heilwig. Then Padrig starts saying prayers for the two with funeral rights worthly of gallant knights. A tear runs down Padrig's check as the service completes. "Please bury them now for there souls are ready for the after life. "

"Afterwards may we rest somewhere safe and please tell me the events that have transpired this day and why those hobgolins are still alive. If you need some help I would glading slay them for you", asks Padrig.

"Yes, lets get back to the tower and out of this rain," Ulric says grimly. "We need to see what this one knows," pointing to the bosun, "and then get some rest so that we can get out of here as early as possible. I imagine those goblins that fled will be bringing help soon enough."

Mads the Fair

Walking back to the tower. "The past few days have been grim, to say the least." He looks towards Padrig. "If our paths are to intertwine, take care of yourself. The Knightly Orders have already lost two to many followers."

Once established, Mads will rest and heal up. Maybe take the 2nd or 3rd watch for the night.
