Ravistine agrees that checking for secret doors is a good idea.

The NW section is also 20x20, but has a door in the north wall, east side, and a door in the west wall, south side. The South West part of the H shaped room is just more 20' corridor leading south. No other secrets are found

I'm actually now curious what may lie just south of the secret room. Maloof would like to head south down the SW corridor and if there is no door leading there on this side, Maloof would head back north then east to the SE corridor and then south to check out that door (listen, then open).

Franklin has learned by now to trust Maloof's hunches. He leads the way south.

The passage leading south from the south-west corner is an exact copy of the passage from the south-east that you used to get here, with a door on the east wall at the same relative location as the west wall door

Maloof will listen at the door, then step back for Franklin or Bannon to open it up.

Franklin is standing by to defend against any monsters that come through the door.

You open onto a 30x40 room with a door on the east wall. The room is painted a garish yellow. There is a table with a candle stand in the corner. On the table is an inkwell, a fountain pen, and a piece of paper
