Where is the treasure we seek?
Highbough's laughter dances around Gustave; the cagey old Elf is nowhere to be seen...
Where are the others?

Muttering something under his breath about a possible kindred between senility and invisibility, Gustave lets out a theatrical sigh.
Sighting Olaf and others peeking in the broken windows to the left, he turns his attention to the door immediately to his right. He approaches the portal and listens at it briefly, opening it cautiously if naught can be heard.

Gustave strides over to the nearby double door. It is barred by a stout beam on this side... no doubt it would take some serious punishment to force it from the other side.
Gustave places his ear near to the door and listens {1d6} but all he hears clearly is the clatter of those clearing broken glass and entering the ruined abbey via the window arches...

Olaf leaps in through a window arch, followed soon after (somewhat less gracefully) by Ulric.
The pair survey the ruinous interior, noting especially the great crater of smoldering tar where once there would have been space for a congregation of nuns.
More immediately, they find themselves behind a blackened and broken altar. The contents of its internal shelf lie burned and scattered upon the floor.

This might be what the Mother sent us after.
Olaf will collect the items and store them in his pack.

Slipping through the window frame with relative quiet, Armando joins the others in surveying the ravaged interior of the abbey. He glances nervously back through the window. He then ruefully contemplates the vast tar pit.

"They have been quite busy here," Ulric says as he surveys the burned interior of the abbey. "I'm not sure that we need to worry about rescuing any prisoners. I'd say everyone was killed."
Ulric then joins Olaf in searching through the burned items from the altar and then searching the altar itself for any other items in plain sight or hidden compartments.

Gustave hails the window team with a shrill whistle, indicating the barred door with a nod of his head. He then bends his back to removing the bar from the door, sheathing his blade before doing so.

Olaf looks up from behind the altar with a frown, stops what he's doing and goes to backup Guatave.

Does the abbey have a second floor or balcony? If Invisible Highbough can climb up, he wants to take a look around, maybe get up above the veil of illusion.
