With a sudden rattling of leaves and flurry of feathers, the owl leaps from its perch and dives directly toward Josiane, gracefully gliding across the distance in utter silence, and momentarily alights upon her outstretched hand.

She is surprised at how light it seems, considering its 2ft wingspan, as it looks directly into her eyes from its new perch, unblinking.

"Hoot".

"It would seem you have yet another admirer," Dieter says with a grin (his first grin in a while, it seems).

"If we're leaving, I say we go immediately. I'd like an elf or other sharp-eyed person to take the lead."

Desmond sighs in frustration...

Dorgan just shakes his head. "Huh. Looks like I was wrong about the owl. Well, it'll make for good company on the road. Let's get on with it."

Has Invisible Highbough seen enough from his rooftop position (he can still use the Smaze to descend if he wishes)?

The company appear gathering up in a column to march out...

Highbough has seen enough, and will join the march. He is happy to take the lead.

Gustave carries Desmond/Mondes whenever the terrain is impassable for blinded hobbits, otherwise allowing him to walk.
