As part of my nod to the 10 year anniversary of Delving Deeper, I have updated that Sample Dungeon that appeared in book 2 of the V1 release, so that it is not forever lost as time (and DD versions) march ever onward!

The introductory para of this one-page dungeon reads:

The DD V1 Sample Dungeon Rekindled!
This sample dungeon originally appeared in Delving Deeper version 1, October 2012. In October 2022 it has been dusted off, revised and updated for DD version 5. There are now a couple of extra treasure rooms, treasures have been revised, and monster numbers have been reset for 4--6 players.

The open-ended map continues to invite further expansion into the mysterious underworld...

Some "news" from left field for anyone still following along...

I've finally buckled and set up a Buy me a Coffee supporter page to help you help me build some motivation to get DD5 done!

It's true; I'm a social media hermit, a noob, and a tad reluctant/stubborn about needing support. But it's clear I haven't been able to get DD5 over the line these past few years, and that something different needs to happen. This might be nothing, or maybe it might generate some support, a sense that anyone "out there" wants DD5 to get done. So let's see... maybe the Coffee will be strong enough to build some inertia again? Cheers to that!

A little love for Delving Deeper V4, at long last!

The print-on-demand, single-volume, hard-copy available from Lulu has finally been updated to V4b, see: DD Ref Rules Compendium
(Note the US price has increased by 1 USD to cover Lulu's revised costs; costs outside the US--especially Canada--seem to have increased more).


V4a and V4b versions of the single-volume Ref Rules Compendium are both now available as freely downloadable PDFs from the fileshare on this forum, here:

The Delving Deeper Online hypertext is also received a bit of a face lift. More on that soon...

The DD V4 Hypertext has received a long overdue facelift!

The updates are:
- Interactive table of contents,
- Fresh and easier-to-read CSS,
- Better presented tables throughout,
- hyperlinked spell-, monster- and magic item names in their respective summary lists.

Additionally, the hypertext is now the only version of V4 that includes (previously omitted) descriptions of the ward against golems and the magic sword versus golems.
