Whoops. Sorry about that Caine. I had the extra coins in my notes but did not type them into my post. Honest. ;Dwaysoftheearth wrote:A plausible system... but poor Caine misses out, and 6gp and 3sp of the coins are unallocated.
This is okay with me, but Olaf wants the cash, not the scepter or white gold ring. waysoftheearth wrote:Okay folks, let's work this out.
Let's assume that you go ahead and sell everything except the ring, scepter and Krystin's spellbook, and that Gustave fetches the prices previously offered by Brigitta. You could then divide the loot like this...
Caine, Ulric, Mads, Olaf, Taines and Dieter have been in from the beginning, so get 4 shares each.
Victor and Anwyn (NPCs), and Flewellen and Padrig (late arrivals), get 2 shares each.
Gustave has only just arrived, but gets a half share for fetching some good prices (and to help him equip for the next adventure).
Like thus:
Four Share Lots; Caine, Ulric, Mads, Olaf, Taines and DieterTwo Share Lots; Victor, Anwyn, Flewellen and Padrig
- The White Gold Ring,
- The Brass Scepter,
- 11gp and 154sp,
- 11gp and 154sp,
- 11gp and 154sp,
- 11gp and 154sp.
One Share Lot; Gustave
- 6gp and 77sp,
- 6gp and 77sp,
- 6gp and 77sp,
- Krystin's Spellbook (which Padrig already has).
If you want some more ready cash to equip for your next adventure, you could sell the scepter or the ring or both. Jurgen has already made a tempting offer for the scepter...
- 2gp and 20sp.
Good idea! Any suggestions on how we do that?verhaden wrote:We could find a way to keep the hobgoblins tied up and focused elsewhere while we pillage and plunder. I get the feeling that they're not going to cede ground easily.
Nothing I write here in the OOC thread has actually happened in game. I was just trying to help you guys sort stuff into possible shares. Any items that you don't want sold, you can substitute for the like amount of silver in any of the possible shares. I think Danhem was also of half a mind to keep the crimson eye stone instead of 125 sp (a good notion for minimising the load to be lugged about, perhaps).eris wrote: This is okay with me, but Olaf wants the cash, not the scepter or white gold ring. However, the idol, scepter, and ring might be worth having "identified" before we just sell them. A sage, mage or cleric, might be very interested in any/all/none of them leading to, not necessarily more cash, but perhaps a patron.
