"Ah...", tones Gustave as Josiane suddenly draws her blade and starts waving it about, "Look she may have been curt with you my dear, but that is hardly call for..."

Noting the fruminous glint to her eye, however (and taking a short moment to admire its sparkle), he readies his own sword and positions himself at her flank, declaring "Here we go again it seems. You do keep one on his toes my dear - one moment its pastries and maidens in distress, and the next..."

They will stay towards the front line (in the front line so someone can attack from over their heads with a longer weapon?) and move with the group, whatever they decide - charging forward or retreating back to the front door so they can regroup and organize their offensive.

There is something of a commotion as Josiane cries out and brandishes her blade. She makes to fall back as Dorgan presses forward. Sister Meena grabs Ulric protectively in the midst of the press, elbowing Mondes in the nose as he looks up, "Away from my boy, villians!" she cries, fending others off awkwardly.

In the moments it takes Dorgan to reach the doorway, he hears the Prioress snapping out instructions as she hurries off. By the time peers into the adjacent passage, he catches a just glimpse of her bare heel turning the next corner, some dozen yards away...
