Well, it might not be the generally accepted US spelling, but unless I am mis-remembering plough is how my elementary teachers taught me to spell that word. Right here in the good ol' USA.

Dictionary.com has plough as "Chiefly British. plow."
Proboards marks plough as a spelling error, but is happy with plow.
I made the (perhaps incorrect?) assumptions that both these resources assume a primarily US audience, and that proboards primarily supports US spelling.
In any case, Albert's place is called The Plough and Furrow [img]images/smiley/smiley.png[/img]
