I, too, like the idea of a house of our own.

And that treasure division looks okay to me.

Plow?

Well, it might not be the generally accepted US spelling, but unless I am mis-remembering plough is how my elementary teachers taught me to spell that word. Right here in the good ol' USA.
rleduc wrote:OoC: both noun forms are used in the US, although plow is the more common spelling for the verb, perhaps strangely. And for modern terms, e.g. snowplow.

Dictionary.com has plough as "Chiefly British. plow."

Proboards marks plough as a spelling error, but is happy with plow.

I made the (perhaps incorrect?) assumptions that both these resources assume a primarily US audience, and that proboards primarily supports US spelling.

In any case, Albert's place is called The Plough and Furrow

Get it? Plow and Furrow? Plough and Furrough?

I laughed, anyway. Laughed Out Loud, even.

Also, when I looked up "Furrow" on Dictionary.com, it simply said, "see Plough".

So are we staying at the Plough and Plough? Or the Plow and Plough, maybe?

Lordy, but I love words...

Hmm, when I looked up furrow on dictionary.com it says:

furrow (fur-oh, fuhr-oh)
noun
1. a narrow groove made in the ground, especially by a plow.
2. a narrow groovelike or trenchlike depression in any surface: the furrows of a wrinkled face.

Sorry for the delay people. I have a bit of a problem with the PC that has all my campaign notes on it. Hopefully will be back in order shortly...

Okay, I think I'm back in action... at least until it stops working again.

Am I to assume then that Highbough will take possession of the enchanted spear, Ulric the potion, and Wibert the dagger?

FYI -- I've rolled up some new hit points for those that have levelled. I think over all, rolls were pretty good

Dieter and Olaf have both attained the rank of Challenger (3rd level fighting-Man). They both now have HD 3+2. Olaf rolls (3d6=6,2,1; 11 hp). Dieter rolls (3d6=6,4,2; 14 hp).

Ulric has reached the rank of Evoker (3rd level wizard). he now has HD 1+4, and rolls (1d6=3; 7 hp).

Gustave and Desmond/Mondes have both attained the rank of Veteran (2nd level fighting-Man). Gustave has HD 2+3 and rolls (2d6=6,2; 11 hp). Desmond has HD 2+4 and rolls (2d6=5,2; 11 hp). However, when he gets well, Desmond can return to HD 2+5 and 12 hp.

Wibert reached the rank of Snipe (2nd level thief) and now has HD 1+5. He rolls (1d6=4; 9 hp).

Assuming he will keep the enchanted spear, Highbough has reached the rank of Eidolon (3rd level warlock). He can cast 1st, 2nd and 3rd level spells and can memorise 2 spells at a time. His HD are now 2+1 and he rolls (2d6=5,2; 8 hp).

Nicely done everyone!

Wow, a 3rd level magic user. I'm honestly not sure how Ulric has survived. Needless to say I'm really looking forward to running into some more hobgoblins on open ground.

Given that I could previously memorize two 1st level spells per day while 1st level, how many spell can Ulric memorize now?
