Dougal shakes his head, "Why on a hobbet's green hill did we invite these dimwits to join us? Let's remember to not sign up failed adventurers next time around, yeah?"

"Anyone have a torch handy so we can burn out these webs and see where this tunnel goes? I think it's safe to light them up this time since no one in the party is precariously climbing on them yet!"

bilfur has one of his good berries and then holding a torch for while comes forward and burns the web. He says, " hopefully I don't upset a big spider or anyone who is trapped within"

OOC: Based on a PM conversation, I have moved Beppo to the inactive list; please adjust the marching order accordingly. Let's say that he aced his Move Silent and Hide in Shadows checks, to slip away unnoticed on some solo adventure. When @scottenkainen is able to rejoin us, he can fill us in on what Beppo has been up to. ;)

Kiplyn waits quietly while the spiders web are dealt with. He rummages into his pack for scone and sip of water and then pokes at the tender spots to see how bad off he is.

"I still have some rope if anyone is caught in webs," says Robur. "But I am more than willing to tie around the wrists of novice adventurers so that they don't run astray!"
Perhaps we can add Robur to the single file marching order as well?

"Alright, alright, everybody calm down. Fiona, we noticed that chest last time we were down here, and have been thinking about how to deal with it. The important thing is we should deal with it as a Club! You weren't doing so well by yourself, were you? And you didn't have anybody to watch your back!"

He turns away with a sigh to consider the webs. He's in favour of burning them out this time around, and he has torches in his pack.

As he gets the torches out, he orders Douglas & Fiona: "Watch our backs! Keep an eye on the passage, but don't go anywhere. Just tell us if you see or hear anything."

Marching order looks good, thank you acodispo.

Dame Simonetta briefly flirts with the idea of letting Fiona and Douglas investigate the web-filled passage alone, but quickly dismisses it with guilt and scolds herself for the unworthy thought!

"The chest is clearly a trap, it is bait for the witless or unwitting. We already found the real treasure in that room," she explains slowly and carefully.

OOC: The real treasure was the friends we made along the way.
