It's something I just recently started doing, I figured it gives the new 1st level PCs a boost, joining up with a more experienced party.

Let's say retroactively that Dougals' boon was the turnip he stole way back in Episode 1.

@Scottenkainen I have a few comments:

1. You can delete "social class."
2. We are using Delving Deeper v5 Appendix A encumbrance rules. It is pound-based, not coin-based. With his Str 10, Beppo can carry up to 75lbs at 12", 100lbs at 9", etc. (Technically, hobbets should have lower carrying capacity and open doors, due to their small size, but we're going to hand-wave that and assume the standard tables were written for hobbets.)
3. Delving Deeper has a d6-based system for thief skills, detailed in Appendix B of Heroes and Magic v5. Basically, a 1st-level thief succeeds at most class abilities on a roll of 4-6.
4. Platinum and electrum pieces actually don't exist in this setting (this was a specific decision on my part). Gold/silver/copper only.
5. Sap is a cool idea for a weapon. I gave it equivalent stats as a club/cudgel, but that's open to debate?
6. Sling stones are never-ending and have no encumbrance.
7. It looks like you got clever with item quantities (20' of rope instead of 50' for example) to meet encumbrance restrictions, but I'm not sure you need to do that. As mentioned above, you can carry up to 75lbs and still move 12". I think you can have the full 50' rope and still be okay.
8. My gold piece and encumbrance tallies came up slightly different than yours. I should specify that we use the Appendix E equipment list on page 46 of Delving Deeper. Take a look at my Google Sheet and see if you can spot the discrepancy: https://forum.immersiveink.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=836

Perhaps Willie's boon is several of his own knocked-out teeth he's been carrying around in his pocket. That Spider-Goat owes him some teeth!

Those teeth are a potential plot hook further down the road, trust me... I have big plans for Willie's teeth!

I was not concerned about game mechanic restrictions so much as realistic ones. 50' of rope is just a lot of rope for someone only 3' tall to be carrying. So I scaled it down.
