Brother Walfried blinks owlishly in the comparatively bright light and peers about.

The unlikely company find themselves in a modest sized dungeon chamber that is, thankfully, occupied by none other than themselves alone! Its dimensions are like in width and breadth, not being any more than ten paces, surely? The portal they entered via is at their backs in one corner of the room. In the corner to their right is another closed door. In the corner opposite them an open archway beckons, running out into a corridor. In the corner to their left there is nothing at all to divert the eye.
What now?

Brother Walfried beckons to his companions and moves cautiously towards the corridor across the way.

"Let's get some distance between us and that beast before we make any more noise rattling doors," he whispers.

Morin proceeds with the others through the archway.
A simple mud-map of this junction would be of use.

Boggs follows his friends to corridor C. "We need to evade the dragon and find a way out of this hellhole."

Brother Walfried will take the lead down the passage, shield & hammer in hand, squinting into the dim reaches of Morin's lantern light.

Walfried leads the way into the passage, which seems to curve somewhat to his right before opening into another chamber, of similar--if more elongate--proportions to the last. The ceiling seems to be in a perilous state of disrepair, and has long ago been propped up with a now-frail looking timber strut in the center of the room. There is loose rubble and litter scattered about which seems to have fallen from above.

In addition to the open archway via which Walfried enters, there are two closed doors here. One leads back the way he came in; the other is opposite.

Like all dwarves, Boggs knows a thing or two about dungeon stonework. "What's above us? Maybe if we intentionally collapse the ceiling, we could climb up and out of the dungeon," he ponders. He carefully studies the ceiling for encouraging signs from above, such as fresh air or natural light. As always he is vigilant for signs of vermin. He doesn't touch the rotted timber strut.

While Boggs conducts his inspection, Brother Walfried moves along the wall to the nearby door, removes his helmet, and puts his ear to the crack between the door & the wall to have a listen.
Am I correct in understanding that the door Walfried's listing at is on the same wall as the archway we came through? to the left or right?
